@OfSymbols The whole idea is that nobody likes socialism, and that the left represents nobody but themselves. Which is awkward now that - just like in Scotland - most of the minority willing to tolerate crackdowns centrism have fucked off to the first available party to Labour’s left.

BREAKING: Political funding from British citizens living abroad should be capped at about £300,000 a year and donations in cryptocurrency temporarily banned, a government review has recommended.

Socialist parties may be fringe for a vast array of reasons, but socialism as a *view* is mainstream, and actually more popular among the public than capitalism.

@BennClips it is a fringe view, as evidenced by the performance of socialist parties in elections. This is why splitting up Your Party was such an enormously stupid idea. You at least had a chance of an audience as the Corbyn party - without him, you're just RISE all over again.

@BennClips I didn't say I would campaign to abolish it (thought if you put it to the vote, I think more people than you think would be happy to), I just said I regret voting for it. Many do.

The more I think about this, the more incandescent with rage I become.
There will effectively be no working class socialist option on the ballot for our national elections (bar fringe parties like TUSC) because of sectarians in London.
I have no idea what to do next.

@SocialistNIRE “Daily complaints”? I’ve called out the instinctive negativity of folk on here for about a year in a non-factional way. I voted a mix of slates because I wanted unity.
But the way Scottish members have been treated since February has been a fucking disgrace.

The word “Scotland” doesn’t appear once in this, even though the failure to support us in running in candidates is the real controversy.
It goes to show irrelevant we are to the English left’s petty factional dispute.
