Our only bargaining chip right now is our endorsement, and many in NYC DSA are planning to hand it over with no proof-of-concept.

Ofc we all hope for AOC to be a real socialist candidate, BUT we must think about whether we actually have ways to hold her to her word. It is unfortunately very likely that her rhetorical switch up is just a bid for a DSA endorsement without any real commitment to the movement.

We as DSA should not even begin to have a serious discussion about endorsement until this is addressed.
