Big Summer Cycle

Between the 4th and 13th of September 60 riders from @SiemensUKNews will be taking to the streets of Britain to cycle 800 miles in 10 days to raise money for @TheBHF and @MindCharity in memory of our former colleague Toby Harteveld ❤

Our riders reached the top of Holmes Moss in he Peak District an hour ago. The last big hill of the ride (it was a very, very tough ride, but they all tackled it), but what spectacular views from the top! Now... onto Manchester we go! #bigsummercycle #bigsummercycle2019

Ever wondered how many calories our riders burn during a day on the Big Summer Cycle? Well today, they burnt just under 6000 calories - the equivalent of losing 2lbs of fat!! #bigsummercycle #fitness #wellbeing

Today’s ride can only be described in one word - brutal. Not only did the riders have the biggest amount of climbs (7500ft - over twice the height of Mt Snowdon), they were facing a very strong head on wind. Huge well done to everyone who rode - it was the hardest ride so far.
