Super super SUPER cool Antenariid anglerfish caught with a beach seine while we're out here teaching undergrads about estuarine ecology! First time seeing one so little, made my whole day!! @Uni_Newcastle @UoN_CaMS

Interviewed for an interp position I was super excited for, they loved me, offered me the job on the spot, and then shared that it was a 50 hours/week, minimum wage, zero benefits. why do I even try😭

It’s not often we get to see an #EasternIndigoSnake in the summer! They disperse away from sandhills into cooler, more productive hunting grounds during the spring and summer, so we were quite lucky to encounter this beautiful young male as it crossed a rural road.

We don’t currently have any grant funding to support @SkypeScientist for 2025 😬 But! We have Frog Facts advent calendars to help float us until I get us funding! They are amazing! Every day scratch off the sparkles to get a frog fact. If we sell 5000 it will fully fund 2025.
