The Jedi Who Knew Too Much
@Boongo_15
I actually really like Star Wars.

TIL that the worst bits of Star Wars fandom have decided they hate Andor, one of the most remarkable TV series ever made about anything, because it didn’t spend its TV-level budget on CG locations that would have looked dated in five years anyway.

THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU star Brendan Wayne with the perfect take about toxic Star Wars fans: "It's interesting to see people who are pulling against the franchise they love, just because of their ownership… That can be 100% toxic in the Star Wars world….It's to be present and to watch it, and if you don't connect, cool, but we don't need to hear how bad you are, that they ruined your Star Wars. They didn't ruin your Star Wars. It's our Star Wars." (Source: movieweb.com/mandalorian-br…)

The reason Andor is aging poorly for me is because I realized the Empire is insanely incompetent in the show and it ruins the whole "actually evil serious threat" thing In the prison Cassian was through in there were a total of like 30 guards in the entire complex, which was a vital slave labor source for the most important industrial project the Empire was undertaking The Empire sent more soldiers to antagonize Ferrix during Aunt Petunia's funeral because they are mustache twirling saturday morning villains instead of a serious entity

The Phantom Menace or The Force Awakens?

We need more stories like Andor, not just because it's good, but because right wing idiots hated it so much, they are still coming up with hilarious new contrarian takes to this day because they can't grapple with their own ideology being represented as ultimate evil.

Looking at the reactions to this tweet, I can say with certainty that many Star Wars fans haven't seen AotC in a very long time. Also, a single lightsaber fight, a battle, or a planet does not determine the quality of the entire film. The main plot is what matters most here.

The Phantom Menace is a masterpiece compared to soulless Disney slop, I don't care what anyone says soft rebooting star wars especially in the way it was made was bad and a sign of big trouble for the franchise.

Classic example of this is Star Wars Theory, who was GLOWING about TLJ until he realised there was more grift in hating. He was by no means the only one.

No one will ever convince me that Attack of the Clones is even close to The Last Jedi in terms of film quality. Love this movie and have great memories, but it's just not good as a film.

@OotyMcTooty @k3r2igh24r49036 lol, no it doesn’t. How much money a movie makes doesn’t factor into the quality of a movie
