You know that feeling when you update a website and immediately regret it? Yeah… that happened to me today 😄 I updated an Elementor-based site using the latest Hello biz theme, and boom — things broke right away. Lesson (again): with Elementor, your plugin and theme always need to be in sync—otherwise, chaos. Luckily, I’ve been using @SiteSkite AI, and it literally saved me. I rolled back the theme in seconds and everything went back to normal like nothing happened. The exciting part? I am now working on “vision” features — meaning the AI will actually detect when a site breaks and suggest (or even trigger) a fix automatically. Feels like we’re moving from “fixing problems” to “preventing them before they hurt.” If you’re working with websites and not using tools like this yet… you might want to start. @buildinpublic

AI agents, n8n, MCP — and the future of SiteSkite. We’re not just adding features anymore. We’re digitalizing how WebOps actually works. SiteSkite is evolving into an AI-driven platform — where your sites are no longer managed manually, but operated through intelligent systems. This is a fundamental shift. Here’s what we’re building: • AI Agent Integration SiteSkite is becoming an environment where AI agents don’t just assist — they operate. They understand your sites, monitor them continuously, and take action when it matters. • n8n Automation We’re embracing open, flexible automation. Not rigid workflows, but dynamic systems that connect your entire stack — from monitoring to response. • MCP Capabilities This is the backbone. MCP allows SiteSkite to move beyond prompts and into context — enabling systems that reason, coordinate, and act across your infrastructure. Together, this changes everything. WebOps has traditionally been reactive: Something breaks → you fix it. We’re moving to: Systems understand → systems act → you stay in control. And importantly — this is built with privacy at the core. AI doesn’t directly access your sites. SiteSkite acts as the secure bridge between intelligence and execution. What does this mean for the industry? It means the idea of an “assistant” is being redefined. Not a chatbot. Not a dashboard. But an integrated, intelligent layer that operates across your entire web infrastructure. This is the direction we’re heading. And we’re just getting started. ⚡ #buildinpublic #AIWebOps

Something exciting is brewing behind the scenes 👀 I’ve been quietly building a smarter way to manage WordPress sites… and now it’s about to get a whole lot more powerful. Building @SiteSkite — the first AI WebOps platform for WordPress. Imagine this: Instead of jumping between dashboards, plugins, and tools… you simply talk to your AI and get things done. It means you won’t manage your websites through dashboards anymore. You’ll just talk to them. “Check my site health.” “Update all plugins.” “Is anything vulnerable?” Done. Just like that. No tabs. No friction. No guesswork. This is the future I’ve been aiming for since day one — turning complex WebOps into simple conversations. We’re opening up early access very soon. If you want in, just comment: “I want access” 👇 I’ll personally invite you. Let’s build the future of WordPress together. #SiteSkite #AI #WebOps #WordPress #Automation #MCP #ChatGPT #ClaudeAI @buildinpublic

🚨 Screen Studio charges $89 for this. Someone open sourced the entire thing for free. It's called OpenScreen. 8,400+ GitHub stars. You record your screen. It automatically transforms it into a polished, professional demo video. Auto-zoom into clicks. Smooth cursor animations. Motion blur. Custom backgrounds with wallpapers, gradients, and shadows. Webcam overlays. Annotations. Timeline editing. Export in any aspect ratio. The exact workflow that Screen Studio sells for $89 and Loom sells as a subscription. Free. No watermarks. No accounts. No subscriptions. Here's what you get out of the box: → Full screen or window capture with system audio and mic → Automatic zoom that follows your cursor and clicks → Manual zoom with customizable depth and timing → Smooth motion blur on pan and zoom transitions → Animated cursor rendering with motion effects → Webcam bubble overlay with drag-and-drop positioning → Wallpapers, solid colors, gradients, or custom backgrounds → Text and arrow annotations layered over recordings → Timeline trimming and variable speed segments → Crop, resize, and export in any resolution or aspect ratio → Save and reopen projects anytime Here's the wildest part: A developer forked it and built an even more advanced version called Recordly. Full cursor animation pipeline. Native macOS and Windows recording. Zoom behavior that mirrors Screen Studio frame-for-frame. Audio tracks. Webcam overlays with zoom-reactive scaling. Both are free. Both are MIT licensed. Both work on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Download. Record. Export. Done. 100% Open Source. MIT License. (Link in the comments)

@heynavtoor Very nice, I wish the camera record would also be on stage, the way screen record, so we can see the speaking person's video as well.

Woohoo! EventKoi is featured in the WordPress directory. If you're looking for a modern events calendar plugin for WordPress, look no further. We've come so far since we started. We've fixed soo many bugs, built a modern and accessible calendar, integrated with @elemntor , @BeaverBuilder and @bricksbuilderio (for pro only), and even have RSVPs now. I will be forever grateful if you would share and repost to help get us to 100 downloads. Thanks again to @famousish for this initiative to spotlight smaller plugins in the Featured Plugins section.

WordPress dashboards are dying. I was paying $100+/mo for one. Felt “professional.” Then I realized: Updates → WP-CLI Backups → hosting Uptime → hosting Security → hosting Now: WP-CLI + AI agent over SSH. No dashboard. No fees. Why do people still pay for dashboards?

Finally, building things I used to only think about. I made a tool called PressCtl — it provisions a server, sets up a full LEMP stack, and deploys a WordPress site in under 7 minutes.
