This preverbal boy uses the TD Snap app to choose the animals he wants me to sing about. He’s learned the motor patterns to move between the pages all by himself. Seeing how much he enjoys it — and how empowered it makes him feel — is amazing.

A great progress from this amazing learner. Kids are usually motivated strongly enough with food, so we started to do requesting via talker exactly there. #AAC

Story 📘

First thing this preverbal boy says is he wants popcorn. I’m like, nope… no popcorn here. But I do have a yo-yo. And…He takes it 😆 #AAC

He loves when I play the guitar. While I was modelling, he was watching and learning through observation over few sessions. He can now do it himself independently. Really great progress. #AAC

Great fun with the yo-yo, building train tracks, and matching loads. We practised communication, fine motor skills, and logical problem-solving.

Looking forward to start my week with this cute little powerhouse 🎶😊🪩

Preverbal boy. Early sessions—but I know he has the capacity to complete this task. Here, he’s learning to sit, cooperate, and follow through. 💙

It can look like this pre-verbal learner has no interest—until one day. He picked up the talker, explored the vocabulary, and when asked what he likes for his breakfast he says PANCAKES AND JUICE. Wow. 💙 We learn together.

With the much-loved story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, our nonverbal pupils use their AAC to learn new vocabulary every week. Such a clever bunch—growing in confidence, building friendships, and having lots of fun along the way. Love these kids! #AAC
