Great win for Denver after that start.
Murray/Jokic two-man game generated good looks, but they really won by forcing Minnesota’s offense to stagnate & fall into some bad habits in the second half.
Showed Ant multiple bodies, defended Randle well & mostly got both to settle.
I gotta hand it to the wolves fans.
They’ve done a fantastic job of convincing themselves their team didn’t try all season long and are actually juggernauts instead of a 49 win team, and that Ant is the best player in the world not dealing with an annoying knee injury.
I also have to say if Denver loses this series it will be the most surprised and wrong I’ve been in probably 10 years as a Nuggets fan.
Fun fact of the day that I learned from No Dunks:
Aaron Gordon shot 38.9% from three on 1.7 makes per game this season
He went 10/11 from three in the season opener against the Warriors where he scored 50 points
Take out that outlier game and he’s down to 34.9% on 1.4 makes
