3rd worldist and western liberals both share the same disdain for the American redneck and make the same wrong assumptions They both mistake the rednecks high level of industriousness, practical problem solving and mechanical aptitude for stupidity Massaging oneself to intellectual philosophy and high brow cognitive adventurism is nothing compared to the American rednecks ability to scale operational capacity while watching a toughman contest and eating Arbys Its all just endless cope, similar to libtards wowing themselves over paint splatters on a canvas while ignoring the fact they can't chnage a tire Sorry but the guy below is a pure alpha. One advantage the Iranians have is that their entire elite seems to consist of 130 IQ polymath combat veterans with PhDs who stormed across minefields with fixed bayonets surrounded by poison gas back in the day and then spent 30 years studying philosophy, game theory, engineering and military science. Average decision-maker quality appears to be dramatically higher than elsewhere, especially qualified for shit-hits-the-fan situations

-The wall’s being built, just slowly. But even as is, border crossings have plummeted. Even Nick gave Trump credit for this. -The tax cuts were good and for most Americans. Why are we opposed to this? -600K isn’t enough deportations, but it is meaningful for just a year.
Michael More@mkmore4

@JadeAtrophis Trump didn’t build the wall, gave huge corporate tax cuts, betrayed the base over and over, and hasn’t deported on any meaningful level. Now with the Iran war+covid bailouts, he’ll end up racking up more debt than those guys did combined. Trump has set us so far back.

@35mmAmerican The funniest part about the original post is calling Catholicism a "Christian denomination".

Robert Putnam already wrote about this in the 90s. And their numbers going up has far more to do with a 1/3 of the country now being Hispanic. Catholics are lovely but I don’t think living in Brazil or Mexico is gonna make this country better.
Sachin Jose@Sachinettiyil

Catholics will soon surpass evangelicals in number in the United States, becoming the largest Christian denomination, according to a new report. Info: COPE

The US invented computers that can consistently beat any human in the world at chess, and now we strap computers at least 1% that powerful to individual bombs, dropped from airplanes older than the regime we're bombing.

@andiwillgototx Respectfully, I disagree; leaning a process means making it more competitive overall, it's not a simple "more for less" dynamic. If that was the case, the US would've never had its automotive supply base shipped to Mexico.

@ChadowskiIsBack More or less workforce would have no impact on that tho. Leaning processes is about doing more with same for less cost.

A ceasefire for a period of one month will be announced according to a mechanism that Witkoff and Kushner are working on, according to AI Arabiya citing Israeli Channel 12 The US aims at a month-long ceasefire The agreement with Iran is very similar to the understandings in Gaza and Lebanon A 15-point agreement will be negotiated during the month of a possible ceasefire. The 15 Clauses of the Agreement with Iran (Via AI Hadath) 1. Automatically cancel the threat of reimposition of sanctions. 2. Dismantling Iran's Existing Nuclear Capabilities 3. Agreement with Iran... Iran vows to "never seek" nuclear weapons 4. Preventing the enrichment of any nuclear material on Iranian territory 5. Delivery of enriched uranium to IAEA 6. Decommissioning and destroying the sites of Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow 7. Grant the IAEA full access to all information 8. Iran abandons 'proxies' approach 9. Stopping funding and arming militias in the region 10. Keeping the Strait of Hormuz open without any closure 11. Postponement of decision on ballistic missile program 12. Ballistic missiles are only used for defense 13. Lifting all sanctions on Iran 14. Support for the development of a civilian nuclear program in Bushehr 15. Automatically cancel the threat of reimposition of sanctions via AI Arabiva citing Israel's Channel 12 and also via AI Hadath citing Israel's Channel 12

@andrewkornuta I work for a foreign-owned corporation; it's so much worse convincing Europeans to spend than it is Americans.

@andiwillgototx This is part of the reason why I like where humanoid automation is going; being able to solely focus on leaning & developing processes while the "thing" doing the work is infinitely teachable...that's going to unlock a lot of potential for especially small, robust manufacturers.

@andiwillgototx This is kind of a joke when small to mid sized manufacturers are forced to compete in the same ecosystem with foreign manufacturers who can pay their workers nothing compared to what an American laborer costs.
