@bioonthego That would be awesome. One thing you can do is get an Alexa remote and keep Alexa on mute all day. You can see the light ring turn red to keep check!
I wish I had a classroom setting on #Amazon#Alexa that only recognized my voice...I could turn it off to students’ voices with a phrase like...”I’m using my teacher voice now, wait for me to command you before you respond to other messages.” Does this exist? #12DaysTwitterPHM
@eujon_anderson@TroyCitySchools Awesome that you've created a dedicated page for your district about Alexa. We're also happy to provide guides and advice if needed. Your T's can also talk to other Alexa T's in our Facebook group. And if you'd like a discount code to Askmyclass just DM us.
The website is live now. Will continue to add onto it, but if you are looking to add #Alexa to the Classroom, here is a website of resources that you can use from @TroyCitySchools. Let me know what you think. bit.ly/TCSAlexa#edtech#GoAlet
Kids are researching w/background music, courtesy of our #Echo and @askMyClass. So many other great uses that I can't wait to share with the kids! #Alexa#askmyclass
