2025 was another milestone year for Clean Up MidAm, and we’re deeply grateful to every coalition member who helped make it possible. Our documentary, Iowa’s Dirty Secret, exposed the true cost of MidAmerican’s coal plants through sold-out screenings across the state. After earning multiple awards, the film is now available to stream online for free, with more than 300,000 people watching the trailer. This year also saw volunteers step up in a big way—driving record levels of community engagement, accountability actions, and public visibility for our grassroots work. We have plenty of work ahead, and we’re excited to share more in the new year. For now, we hope you enjoy a restful holiday season!
