Grassroots NC pick up a hometown win over Team Trezz. It was a battle until the last second. Kareem Anderson was great again with a game high 19 points. Landon Henke added 18 and numerous winning plays while showcasing his athleticism and versatility.

Gups Clucas hit some huge shots in the 2nd half to secure another impressive win for Grassroots NC. Clucas excels in his role and answers when called upon. He was money from the three-point line and dropped off a couple of sweet assists too.

Kareem Anderson is the kind of guard you give the keys to. Anderson is skilled and twitchy, able to create off the bounce whenever he chooses. He finished with 18 points and found his big man for several assists. Also flashed the athleticism on a couple of dunks and blocks.

Alex Wolf is one of the best 15u bigs we’ve seen this spring. He’s a strong low post scorer that can muscle through contact and finish at the rim. Very high IQ for his age, Wolf moves well without the ball and knows where to move to. He finished with 24 points in a win for Grassroots NC.

Call it position-less ball all you want but if you don’t have a PG who is willing to create shots for others, be that dawg on defense at the point of attack and can run your stuff, you most likely will lose the majority of your most meaningful games.
