@MartinSLewis @DKMS_uk I had a tandem stem cell transplant last year with my own cells, I was on the list with DKMS but had to leave, I never imagined when I signed up that I might need to use them 😭 its brilliant for anyone that can do this and quite a simple process. ❤️

Recently, out of the blue I got a call from @DKMS_uk - the charity that helps people with blood cancer. I'd forgotten that 5yrs ago I did a cheek swab... but the call was to say I was a possible match for someone in urgent need of stem cell or bone marrow transplant. It's a chance to help someone survive who wouldn't otherwise. Unfortunately, having just been through the next stage, I've been ruled out of donating. So to turn that into a positive, I wanted to suggest if you fancy registering to be a donor, if age 18 - 55 you can do it here... dkms.org.uk - and hopefully one of you may be the match that actually saves a life.
