@OpenAI What happened to the veteran transition subscription?! I got my SheerID verification to only find that the ChatGPT Veterans page is 404 for weeks now.... Does OpenAI not support Veterans anymore???

GPT-5.4 is great at coding, knowledge work, computer use, etc, and it's nice to see how much people are enjoying it. But it's also my favorite model to talk to! We have missed the mark on model personality for awhile, so it feels extra good to be moving in the right direction.

Paid users can now adjust thinking level on iOS and Android, in addition to web. Just tap “Thinking” in the composer and pick your level: Light, Standard, Extended, or Heavy.

Select GPT-5 with Thinking in ChatGPT on web to toggle thinking time in the message composer. - Plus, Pro, Business have Standard (new default, balancing speed and intelligence) & Extended (previous default for Plus) - Pro also has Light (snappiest) & Heavy (deeper) Your thinking time selection will remain in place for future chats on web until you change it.
