To anyone following me expecting some brilliant mind on history or civic activism... yeah, no. You're getting a nerdy dork who likes cats.

Just hopping on here to introduce a new little buddy: This is Milo. He likes running around at full speed, cuddles, fighting my computer screen, and trying to kill my feet. He is the best void.

I'm not really on Twitter much for reasons that amount to my own sanity and not wanting to be part of a certain someone's glee club, but I poke in now and again. Because apparently I said something nice once and that helps some folks out, and that makes me happy.

@BreannaLoves1 New one to me. I liked it. Not even sure it's fear but rather apathy that's the real enemy. To say it doesn't matter, that nothing you do matters, that you should just stop fighting back, that you can't win. The post was inspired by my irritation with that surrendering attitude.

People speak of hope as if it is this delicate, ephemeral thing made of whispers and spider's webs. It's not. Hope has dirt on her face, blood on her knuckles, the grit of the cobblestones in her hair, and just spat out a tooth as she rises for another go.

@BEAT_SKELTON I actually enjoyed BioShock: Infinite because I found the whole thing between Booker and Emily charming and because I really liked the style. On the other hand the combat was forgettable and I found the attempt to discuss how easily revolutions can turn to shit hamhanded and weak

@BEAT_SKELTON @NakTheCowAD Hey, Freedom Force was fun for it's time and I'd love more of that kind of thing. Even if I immediately broke the game by making a custom hero made of solid rock that could fly and shoot radiation beams at everyone.
