We managed to catch the earlier ferry from Calais, so we will be arriving at school at the earlier time of approx 7.15pm @CryptMFL @TheCryptSchool

A sunny start to day 2 in Cologne, a morning of Christmas markets and now lunch in a traditional brauhaus

Day 1, part 2 A visit to Stella Doro for spaghetti eis, a boat trip along the Rhine with a visit from St Nicholas and finally dinner at L'osteria . @CryptMFL

We arrived safely in Cologne at 9am.... we made our way across the bridge to the Cathedral, followed by a trip to the bakery for a Berliner, then shopping in the Christmas markets all before lunch #cryptmfl #Cologne

Y7 Residential Day 2: A full on day of activities, everyone being put through their paces on the climbing wall, the obstacle course and others! The classic evening disco capped off a great day, some pretty tired faces at breakfast on day 3!

Y7 residential day 1: Our coaches arrived on time at our Activity centre. We settled into our rooms and started our activities. A variety of challenges including team games, abseiling and climbing wall. Everyone having a blast!

Day 3: A great day spent in Mont St. Michel and Bayeux. Plenty of time spent engrossed in history and some free time to explore two historic towns! A disco to finish off the last night of the trip and homeward bound tomorrow!

Day 2: A non-stop day of activities. A short walk along Juno beach, a visit to a fromagerie, a quick jaunt around Caen, an immersive cinema experience to learn about the D-Day landings, and then a very pleasant afternoon spent in Arromanches!

We expect to be back between 8.30 and 9 assuming no traffic issues. When we get back we will need to drive into school to unload so your help would be gratefully appreciated 👍 We are all very tired!

All expeditions completed. Green team made it the whole way after a 5.30 start! Well done to all of the #CryptYear12 doing #GoldDofE. We are so proud of you all. That was no mean feat battling that wind!! Home tomorrow 😊

Loch Ness has not been kind to our #CryptYear12 #GoldDofE teams with NE head winds. One team landed at Urquhart Castle to complete their project. Another team have had to turn around to sail back to Fort Augustus. One team are close to Dochgarroch Locks. Gold expeds nearly done!
