I don’t have a corroborating source, but this would track - Western Europe in particular wants out. (Spain also reportedly just did this.)
One reason for keeping NATO around was power projection into the MidEast - that may become a moot point. And conversely, if the reason for that power projection was to defend a US-Europe-Gulf consensus that is breaking down…it may not matter.

@surigoma2012 I think you under estimate milk….whether it be breast or whole milk…..there was a successful pysop to get babies on formulae & milk alternatives. It’s been broken, you can tell the difference between how two young American kids were fed.
