DPNSEE Executive Director presented today civil society positions on EU accession in the area of drugs at the Civil Society Forum on Drugs meeting with the EU DG ENEST, emphasizing the need for a balanced approach instead of almost exclusively law enforcement.

On this day in 1955 the flag was adopted. The circle symbolises the unification of Europe. The number twelve represents entirety and perfection. The five-pointed stars symbolise aspiration and education while the golden color is that of the sun; enlightenment and renewal!

For two days we shall be at the EU Civil Society Forum on Drugs annual meeting. Among several interesting topics, we shall discuss the new EU Drugs Strategy and have meeting with the DG ENEST on drugs in accession process of European Union candidate countries.
