$HIMS : SCALING DIGITAL HEALTH FOR A NEW GENERATION HIMS stock has been under significant pressure recently, largely due to regulatory and legal developments and has corrected more than 80% from its peak. WHAT ARE INVESTORS WORRIED ABOUT... THE NEGATIVES Four (4) things — FDA action, SEC probe, Big‑pharma legal risk and Q1 2026 guidance. FDA: FDA removed legal footing that previously allowed some compounded semaglutide weight‑loss drugs, a key revenue driver, leading to product withdrawals SEC Probe: U.S. SEC has launched an inquiry into disclosure practices regarding some products Big‑pharma Legal Risk: A patent lawsuit from industry leader Novo Nordisk over semaglutide copycat products in a major growth category Q1 2026 Guidance: Soft guidance. All of the above have led to HIMS correcting ~80% from its recent peak. However, they have posted record revenue figures with +59% YoY and positive net income. HOW IS MANAGEMENT TACKLING ISSUES... THE POSITIVES HIMS leadership has publicly framed the situation as a longer‑term growth reset and are taking following actions: International Expansion: Large acquisitions like Eucalyptus to enter new markets (Australia, UK, Europe, Canada, Japan). This could unlock new revenue streams outside the U.S. and lessen dependence on regulated products. Diversification Beyond GLP‑1 Drugs: Growing sexual health, dermatology, mental health, and preventative care offerings. Subscriber Growth: This has continued and monthly revenue per subscriber has improved which shows that the core digital health business still scales. Pivot: A pivot toward broader telehealth rather than reliance on a single drug category. TECHNICALS - Price reached 1.618 FiB level target of $65, of the total down move from Year 21-22, giving a return of more than 20X. A price target where 80% of swing trade profit was taken. - Price formed a distributive pattern from Feb 2025 to Oct 2025. - Price broke both the uptrend line as well as Weekly 50 MA at $43 during its recent correction, both of which were held during the entirety of upmove from $8 to $70. This was a big red flag. Why this current area of ~$12-$14 is a solid buy level for a solid bounce? - Price is currently at confluence of a diagonal "One line to rule them all" and "Buy area for a bounce". - Weekly RSI is in very oversold territory and has never been this low. - Price has corrected ~80% from its peak without any reasonable bounce. This doesn't mean stock price cannot go further down, but it is a solid place for a bounce for at least > $21 price which can give a quick 50% return. HOW I PLAN TO PLAY THIS I personally really like it a lot as Hims & Hers addresses everyday health concerns that are increasingly prevalent, including hair loss, weight management, sexual health, and mental wellness. Their solutions are designed for adults aged 25–45, a demographic that is digitally savvy, highly engaged with telehealth, and actively seeking convenient, accessible care. By targeting common & growing health challenges, HIMS is positioning itself as a major player through intersection of healthcare and technology. Therefore, I will keep DCAing from this level & below as I feel it is a good buy for a long term as I align with the problems they are trying to solve which are only going to increase henceforth for our and upcoming generations.
