Today is iOS and iPadOS 26 release day! DolphiniOS is not compatible with the new OS versions yet, but we hope to release a beta update sometime within the next week to fix the compatibility problems. Stay tuned!

StikDebug unlocks JIT by pretending to be Xcode and attaching to an app. This works because devs need JIT to debug their apps. However, the App Store forbids Xcode from attaching to its apps. Therefore, StikDebug can't enable JIT on an App Store version of DolphiniOS.

ℹ️ Now that StikDebug (an app that allows you to enable JIT on other apps) is on the App Store, we've been asked if we will bring DolphiniOS to the App Store. We still have no plans for an App Store release. This is because StikDebug cannot enable JIT on App Store apps.

In 4.0.0 beta 8, we will add a "No JIT" mode. Please keep in mind that performance will be heavily impacted in No JIT mode. Frame rate will depend on your device, the game, and your settings. We still recommend using JIT if you are able to. Stay tuned! dolphinios.oatmealdome.me

@Linklightt We had a look at this, and iOS is affected by the same issue that is preventing RetroAchievements from being added to Dolphin Android. That bug in the core will have to be fixed before we can add it.

@LukasMau__ JIT enablers don't work with apps distributed over the App Store or from an app marketplace in Europe. This is because an app has to be installed as a "development app" for the enabler to work.

@DolphinforiOS I read everything. But would the app be allowed if you tell users about external JIT or something or this « anti-Apple way » ?

By the way, we believe this MacRumors article is wrong. As far as we know, the App Store version of Provenance will not come with Dolphin.
