@kidfromaltona Did a statistical analysis a year back during a lockdown, the free kick count for all teams over an 11 year period is statistically directly proportional to 1. Contested Possession 2. Tackles and then 3. Total Possessions the outlier is WCE with low contested and high free kicks

But free kicks should be equal #sookyswans

@DuffJug @westernbulldogs @Altona_HC @WADoggies Digging a bit deeper, the photo is from R10 1961 and the Footy Record in R11 lists him as #50. He definitely wore #16 in the finals as that is listed in the Footy Record and confirmed by the footage. So it would seem that the change occurred between R12 and the finals.

His recollection was that he wore #50 for maybe 6 or 7 games, I think that game was in July ‘61.
