@SamRaincock I don’t remember that one but when Neil Armstrong stepped out on to the Moon I stepped outside into a dark, clear moonlit night and gazed in awe at it for the first time with men on it. It was unforgettable for a fourteen-year old.

We look at Integrity now and the team in wonder - but my goodness it must have been really something to watch on as Apollo 8 came on TVs on Christmas Eve in 1968. Does anyone remember seeing it?

@CL_Meadows Yes they certainly have good memories which is why our dog hated collies. She’s better with them now but her going blind helps! But she still won’t take shit. Sounds like you have a good neighbour there who is trying to find a way to resolve it other than shutting the dogs in.

@EmJaySlade I hear you. Wizard meeting any other dog is a disaster. We can only assume that when he was had by the travellers, he was attacked by other dogs repeatedly. The vet says it fits.

I’ve had a fall today and have given myself a right shiner. I ended up on all fours and the side of my head hitting the pavement. What a mess but I count myself lucky since nothing appears broken (except my spec 😭), I am just bruised. Deary me!

Big thanks to Medivet Faringdon for fast and decisive action today in seeing, scanning and diagnosing the dog with an infection which is causing an enlarged prostate, all by 2pm. He’s now on medication with a good prognosis. Apparently he was ‘an angel’ while he was having the scan. Wonders never cease.
