@HarryAK90 The idea of the nuclear family in your side of the world is long gone, and those who want it are the ultra religious republicans who are on another level of extreme. It's a cesspool, with all its downs I still appreciate the values maintained in the other side of the world.

@HarryAK90 It's also related to where you are. I agree with everything you said but it's not a spineless stance, if a man in the west says he wants kids it can be twisted to mean that he is telling a woman what to do with her body. Also there's heavy promotion of the happy child-free woman.

Seeing way too many men in relationships around me saying “yea I want kids but the final say is with my partner”..what kind of a spineless stance is that? How hard is it to communicate your genuine desire to be a dad before committing to a relationship? What are people doing?
