FastAPIもクラウドを出したか。個人的にも出た当初から使用しているFWなので、注目したいところ。必要最低限欲しい機能はそろっている印象。DBなどはサードパーティ前提。コンピューティングリソースやその他のリソースに対する将来の従量課金制は、利用可能になり次第案内されるらしい

@D1str0yS @tiangolo Seat based pricing plus compute/resources, with some credits included. Autoscaling based on requests. Resources (e.g. CPU, RAM) will be customizable (not yet). No SSH or FTP, but several tools for debugging. And if fastapi dev or fastapi run work locally, it would normally work.

@tiangolo @FastAPIcloud what’s the pricing model going to look like? is it per request or per compute. how are the heavy compute going to work? are we going to have any ssh or ftp access to the environment?

Deployed htmui on @FastAPIcloud to test the new github integration This means holm works out of the box here - think Next.js DX for SSR with FastAPI. volfpeter.github.io/holm The necessary CLI dependencies are a slight annoyance, but otherwise works like a charm The only missing bit is cache control from a config file, then I can shut down the Vercel deployment

fastapi cloud is the vercel for backend deployments. last year in august 2025, fastapi team introduce fastapi cloud. it completely shifted how we ship python. no more wrestling with complex deployment pipelines or server configs just to get an api live. i have so much smooth dx that i deployed my full production-ready backend of my startup with (dozens of agents) doing heavy lifting.... everything scales to zero when idle and auto-scales up when traffic hits. https is default, and setting up environment variables takes seconds. now adays, it is literally just write code with ai agents like claude code, codex, cursor, and run `fastapi deploy`, and let the cloud handle the rest. if you are building ai apps or complex backends, the zero-friction life is worth the hype. get on that waitlist, here: fastapicloud.com
