In absolutely Beast conditions (proper 25-35kt black Southeaster), the course was shortened and the paddlers turned at Buffels Bay to return to Fish Hoek. Men: 1. Hank McGregor 2. Dawid Mocke 3. Kenny Rice 4. Mark Keeling Women: 1. Bianca Beavitt

Extremely challenging conditions as the paddlers set out from Long Beach, Simon's Town. The weather station at Fish Hoek Beach Sports Club is showing 24kt average, gusting to 34kt. Proper Black Southeaster.
