Only reason it doesnt is bc Vegeta is way too strong atp.

@FilJimm @hashikke @mah_balls_itch @GalaxySoldier Goku could not kill Vegeta. One burst of the x3 and all he did was make him bleed. The x4 Kamehameha didn't even do much damage. And Vegeta only got hit with the Spirit Bomb because Goku got help from Gohan and Krillin. He was NOT hitting him with it one-on-one.

the anime dragging the fight out made me forget that vegeta stood around for hours doing nothing, picked a fight, bled literally once, and decided to kill himself and everyone on earth

The Galick gun is strong enough to withstand enough of the impact from the kkh he’s able to take the hit.

So what if he gets hit by follow ups thats not happening if vegeta is in base? And the spirit bomb fails because Vegeta’s great ape blast is too much to handle

@FilJimm @hashikke @mah_balls_itch @GalaxySoldier Using the Kaioken to dodge wasn't enough. He kept getting hit by follow-up attacks. So basically exactly how he was faring against Vegeta before the x3. A losing battle. And he already failed to throw the Spirit Bomb in canon, so that's a no-go.

@FilJimm @hashikke @mah_balls_itch @GalaxySoldier Sorry, but no, Goku was not going to win this. It took the Kaioken x3 and x4 just to overpower Vegeta, and that was too much for Goku to handle. He was in so much pain that he could barely move. If Vegeta had just stayed calm, he'd have won without even needing to go Oozaru.
