@SpicyDWTakes I see no issue in them. Just like with the Star Trek TOS updated vfx, as long as the original effects are on option on the same disc, who cares? Besides, some stories benefit from the better VFX, especially Seasons 19-26 when the budget was slashed big time.

#DoctorWho Spicy Take #181: Classic DW doesn’t need VFX updates. The old effects are charming and it’s interesting from a historical perspective to see how they were able to create them with such limited technology available. Plus, the new effects are sometimes actually worse.
