@TheSaekoSNOW Im all for physical games bc of the ownership and preservation. But whats on that disc most times isnt something worth owning essentially. RE9 was the last game i can remember seeing boot off disc on a offline PS5 and played just fine. It was like seeing a ghost.

@TheSaekoSNOW I only have 1 question. Have we not already passed the point if disc. Are developers not shipping disc that are essentially keys? They dont contain final code or require day 1 patch downloads. Updates. I know nintendo games can mostly be on the cartridge but even there too.

90% of gamers buy their games digitally?? Convenience is great until a game gets delisted, servers shut down, or you lose access to something you paid for. Then everyone starts talking about game preservation and ownership. As someone who buys most of my games physically, watching the industry move further and further toward digital is really heartbreaking.

We were in trouble when we bought this game for 3 consoles generations. They have been in possession of all the data they needed. They just had to wait to build the biggest gun they could to pull the trigger on!
