So I might have spoken too soon unfortunately, but it's because I found out that my baton permit apparently expired February of last year.
Seems like California changed the law sometime between when I quit back in '21 until now without me realizing it until today.
The way it use to work was baton permits never expired as long as you maintained your guard card, however that's apparently not the case anymore I guess.
I fucking love being screwed over by the state like that. 🫠

Got some good news, seems the previous company I was employed with is going to re-hire me, so I should hopefully be working private security again sometime next week. Kinda excited to get back to it and not chew through my savings anymore lol.

Essentially (my interpretation)
Why be a Male VTuber when you could achieve the same or even greater success showing your real self or being faceless? Many successful male creators prove there isn’t a strong expectation to be especially attractive.
With female content creators there is that initial expectation to BE attractive looking. So many women who would otherwise be unattractive irl use VTubing as a way to present themselves in a more desirable way.
- He’s not saying “stop being a male VTuber,” he's just kinda asking what's the benefit if you’re a guy. And any girl who is offended by what he's saying is either unattractive or insecure.
