"Your standards are too high" I don't smoke, I don’t drink,I don't go to clubs, I eat well, I'm loyal, I pray, I'm educated, I have self respect, I make my own money, I'm disciplined and I'm consistent. My standards are right where they should be. Not settling for less.

In the last 3 months, I’ve been responsible for the wellbeing and justice of 5 women who survived and escaped DV. I paid for a safe house, bought and sent food, and groceries, and handed them over to a bigger NGO who can take up their cases legally and also help them restart life. One that stood out to me was a rather influential man who was so sure he’d get away with it, and probably take me out in the process. I went further into already existing debt, started going DM to DM to beg for money to wash my hands off this and hand these women over. It’s been humiliating, it’s been terrible, and I’ve lost my peace that was barely there. But today, I tell you for free that the husband to that last lady will never assault another woman ever again, and if that’s all I get, it’s something. 🤞🏾 I’m taking a break from activism. I’m burnt out, and I’m just a child please try your best not to call or text me for anything again for a long time. I need to sort my life out.

I am forced to believe that not all girls cheat. I don link tire. I never see anything for my girl phone. We have been together for 6 years now. I don’t believe she hasn’t cheated atleast once but I have no proof at all.
