@IndigenousX It might also be because they make u get up before the sun!

But before business and everything else, I’m a mum! My little ones (5 and 3!) inspire me to help work towards a better world which is why I’m so passionate about the inclusion of Indigenous perspectives in education. They’re also the reason I drink so much coffee! #businessmum

@annaclarity1 @IndigenousX And books about people who don’t look like them!
English

@IndigenousX Kids of all sorts should be able to go to their library and find books about people who live and look just like them and their families.
English

I guess some background about why I went into business? Basically because as my babies enter early childhood education space, kindy etc, I want them to have accesss to Indigenous resources in their classrooms! #indigenousperspectives
English

@IndigenousX And they are so visually appealing. Why aren’t they more widely integrated into childcare and daycare centres and schools??
English

I'm going to be talking a lot about kids books today! Indigenous picture books in school are so vital! It’s about truth telling, sharing perspectives and sharing with kids what incredible cultures we have as First Nations. rileycallieresources.com.au/childrensbooks

English

@IndigenousX These are such a great little Indigenous resource to stretch the kids’ memories
English

I'm always adding to my range of resources. My latest product is the Aboriginal Tools Memory Cards. Kids work on their memory whilst becoming familiar with Aboriginal Tools rileycallieresources.com.au/flashcardsgame…

@IndigenousX @meeanjinmarkets @SEQICC Debbie is such a hard worker. So glad that she finds some time to allocate to the @GameEnough trailer. So proud of her @RileyCallieRes a great business for a work at home mum!
English

Last few years I have worked at the @MeeanjinMarkets in the @GameEnough trailer (my parents business) and been lucky enough to have my stuff in the Marketplace. Sad to not be there this year but thankful everyone has worked hard to bring us the online version! @SEQICC

Game Enough @GameEnough was established in 2016 by myself and my partner Carol Vale (not into twitter either!), to showcase the amazing flavours of Australia. We went to our first market with 100 Roo pasties and came home with 90!😢

English

@Rosebanktom @IndigenousX Nice son! We were in Canada recently and had a couple of types of deer and bison. Lovely meats
English

@flashblak Strawberry Gum is a eucalypt, traditionally from out Tenterfield way. It has a really fruity aroma when dried. Lovely in sweet dishes, but we use it in combination with other native spices in some of our savoury dishes. Various online native food shops stock it. Including ours!
English

Love these resources. We even stock some in our shop...just because we are proud of our daughter!!

Aboriginal Tools Memory Cards... does your early childhood centre need these? Available rileycallieresources.com.au

I don't envy anyone trying to start a hospitality and food business. It's body hard work, and everyone wants everything cheaper.
IndigenousX@IndigenousX
When you create a product, then you need a means of selling them! After starting with a trailer and marque etc we quickly realised how much work was involved & purchased a purpose built food trailer & now we realise how much hard work is involved... @meeanjinmarkets

@NunkeriD Crocodile and Calamari are 2 different beasts! But we get your point...it is the reason why we can now have a line up at our trailer and pizza guy next to us has nobody!!! Tables have turned finally.
English

OMG the Crocodile Calmari is to die for everyone i love this !!
IndigenousX@IndigenousX
So if we sell 100 Yapa @$5 and subtract the cost of the Yapa, travel, staffing, gas/power, insurance and site fees we are in negative figures! So we had to add more menu items. Crocodile is a best seller #crocodile #bushtucker #streetfood
English

@Rosebanktom @IndigenousX We eat the mince mix on its own. It’s delicious. Not sure if the smoking would add to the flavour profile or just confuse it...but always worth an experiment!
English

@noname_noidea @IndigenousX No distributors at the moment. We are working on an initiative ate the moment which may see some positive movement late in the year
