I have great memories of working with John, especially during his time as Chair of Merthyr Tydfil & Rhymney Constituency Labour Party. John was a strong advocate for his community. My thoughts and prayers are with Bev & Gareth, Myfanwy, and all of John's family. RIP Cuz. 🌹

So sad to hear of the passing of former Councillor John Bevan, who served Abertysswg and Moriah for almost 30 years on Rhymney Valley and Caerphilly Councils, as well as volunteering with many community groups.

A brilliant morning packing hampers for this year’s #EveryoneDeservesaChristmas campaign. It was great to work alongside @carolynharris24 and @GeraldJonesLAB to put this together and help deliver Christmas hampers across Blaenau Gwent & Rhymney and Merthyr Tydfil & Aberdare.

What a treat last night to see Merthyr Aloud Choir sing alongside the Uplift and Brecon Community Choirs at the Cornerstone Community Chinch, Cwmbach. Christmas has arrived!
