There’s already a mountain of evidence that Tyler Robinson killed Charlie Kirk — and we’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg. Robinson confessed five different times to four separate people. His own parents identified both him and his gun and helped turn him in to police. His rifle was found right next to the crime scene, in the same direction he was filmed walking. He told his boyfriend why he killed Charlie and that he was going to try to retrieve the gun — which he said he wrapped in a towel — before a police officer stopped him attempting to retrieve it. His DNA is on the rifle body, the trigger, the spent casing, the unfired rounds, the towel he told his boyfriend he wrapped around the weapon, and the screwdriver he left on the roof. The tool used to engrave the unfired casings was found at his house. And prosecutors haven’t even presented their case yet. Imagine the call recordings of him confessing to his parents and saying he would rather take his own life than go to prison. Imagine the recorded interviews with his parents, his boyfriend, and the family friend he confessed to. Imagine the digital trail on his phone — his search history, messages, and cell-phone location data. We’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg, and there’s already more evidence than in any public assassination case I can think of. This is all just from charging documents put together within days — after his own parents helped him turn himself in. Why straw-man the case against the most likely culprit?

On June 18th, I had a text exchange with Charlie Kirk. He said he was spending two full days at the White House trying to persuade President Trump not to initiate a war with Iran. Given that Charlie was close with the President and that he represented a large constituency essential to Trump, and given that many proponents of the war with Iran saw a U.S. attack as urgently necessary to the survival of Israel, it is reasonable to wonder if his refusal to back down from his steadfast opposition somehow resulted in his murder. A good investigation could have settled the matter. What we got only increases the reason for concern. Asking this question may be unforgivable, but it is in no way unreasonable. Charlie was in a strong position to keep us from doing what we have now done, and the timing of his death removed him from the equation and likely changed the course of history--as Charlie himself worried it might.

I enlisted to serve my country. They called Muslims “sand n**gers”, “Hajis” and “Joe sh*t the ragman”. They told us “we gotta fight them over there or we will have to fight them over here”, “they don’t value human life like we do”, and “they hate us because we are free”. These were all lies. Dehumanizing propaganda designed to make it more palatable for the public to have our troops kill people by the thousands. I saw my fellow service members die and maimed and kill innocents for these lies. I saw friends lose part of their soul when they took lives. I saw people haunted by screams. I saw veterans kill themselves over the anguish of what they had seen and done. 22 veteran suicides a day for decades. I saw our country’s international reputation destroyed and a trillion dollars wasted for these lies. I’m still angry about it all these years later. This is why I have no tolerance for the same lies being pushed by the same people for another iteration of the same stupidity. These wars of aggression do not serve our country. I am anti war to the core. You will never change me on this.

WARNING After we destroyed the Japanese regime in WW II, WE wrote their constitution and installed a government that would be aligned with us.  We must give very focused thought to what comes after the Iranian regime's navy, air force, missiles, and top leadership are destroyed.  It still has a standing army, secret police, and an entire Islamist-supporting infrastructure.  There are many approaches to dealing with this short of a democracy project or sending hundreds of thousands of soldiers.  But to be clear, if a void is created and left there, and we do not fill it (perhaps with our allies) or significantly influence how it is tilled, it most definitely will be filled by the forces in Iran that remain from the old regime with the support of their allies, including China and Russia

Any suggestion that @AIPAC— an American organization— is anything but pro-American is flat-out wrong and offensive. It's fine to disagree on policy, but it is a dual-loyalty trope dog whistle to denigrate the integrity of Americans working toward a strong US-Israel relationship.
