A joint statement on Bystander Bleeding Control for London. People can lose a lot of blood, very quickly from bleeding wounds. Pressing directly on a wound with a piece of material until help arrives can make all the difference. We encourage all Londoners to get confident in delivering basic first aid to bleeding wounds.

We rescued six men found inside a refrigerated lorry, using @GoodSamApp to locate it on the #A142 on Wednesday. The men phoned 999 saying they couldn't breathe before the call dropped out. They were checked over before and taken into custody in relation to immigration offences.
