@Hastingsrnli One has to ask, if it ran aground two weeks ago, why on earth want it removed? Instead of leaving it to drift along the coast to waste the time of the emergency services today!

#outonashout 📟 Hastings ALB was requested to launch this morning after boat parts were found a few miles south of #Hastings. The lifeboat and her volunteer crew made quickly to scene and along with an HM Coastguard fixed wing aircraft and helicopter.

4th Dec. Talk by Marilyn Saklatvala on Anne Lister’s visit to Hastings. Anne's diary is full of local colour – tradesmen, holiday habits, walks etc. The TV series Gentleman Jack was based on her life. She visited Hastings for five months from 1831 to 1832. ohps.org.uk/event/talk-by-…
