Why is Rust so interesting for our host? It has a novel memory management concept that makes it quite different from pre-existing programming languages. Thanks to that it’s super fast and has a small memory footprint like C, while still being memory-safe like Java.

In yesterday's Tech Talk we discussed some example unit tests with enzyme’s shallow rendering, with mount rendering, and with react-testing-library. The discussion moved around how you test react components, unit vs integration tests, and what we like or dislike about RTL.

Every Thursday afternoon, we gather virtually together in our tech talk sessions. This week we will be comparing two react testing libraries and will discuss unit tests vs integration tests.

This #hccamp2022 was our 4th @holidaycheck internal conference, the second one as HC Camp. As every edition time, it is amazing to see so many talented people sharing their knowledge, creating amazing prototypes, and twisting theirs and our brains looking for new challenges.
