Only two mines in the world produce the critical mineral antimony. Both are owned by a Chinese state mining company. One of those mines is in Canada - now shuttered by Minmetals effectively giving China world control of this important military mineral. Now the Liberals are building a $700 million dollar road to another mine in the arctic also owned by Minmetals as reported by my colleague @Gab_Hardy Canada must take back control of our natural resources including minerals that are critical to our sovereignty.

Our victory at Vimy should fill all Canadians with pride. Sadly, the post-nationalists believe that we should be ashamed of the Canada that achieved this. We must renew national pride in the courage, valour, and audacity of the tough people who built this country, and died in its defence.
Canadian Army@CanadianArmy

On this day 109 years ago nearly 100,000 Canadians fought together at Vimy Ridge in one of the First World War’s defining battles. Today, the Vimy Memorial stands at Hill 145 in remembrance of their courage, sacrifice, and the legacy left behind. #CanadaRemembers

We need to make Canada the strongest, freest, and most prosperous country on earth. A Conservative government led by @pierrepoilievre will do that.

Floor crossing should trigger an immediate by-election, whether federal or provincial. When an elected official switches parties, they betray the voters and volunteers who elected them under a specific banner. The public trust placed in them does not automatically transfer to a new party. If a member is so moved to join another side, they should resign and go back to the people to seek a fresh mandate. Anything less undermines our democracy. British Columbians and Canadians deserve better. Join me Findlay4BC.ca

I got into politics to fight for what I believe in. I ran for the Conservatives under @pierrepoilievre's leadership because they wanted (and want) the same things. The people of Elgin—St. Thomas—London South elected me as part of that team. I'm here to serve everyone in the community and advocate for the policies and values that got me elected. Lest there be any doubt, I'm not crossing the floor. Mark Carney is clearly comfortable surrounding himself with people who would trade their principles for power. I'm not one of them.

This is Marilyn Gladu. Explain to me how she could cross the floor and join the Carney Liberals ... When these are her political views??

Over the last 10 years, the Liberals have chipped away at your civil liberties, controlling what you can say, what you can read, and even what you can own. Conservatives will continue to stand up for your rights, defend your freedoms, and restore common sense in Canada.

I am a Conservative. I have always been a Conservative. I will always stay a Conservative. I have knocked on tens of thousands of doors, held town halls, mobilized teams of faithful volunteers and have always spoken directly with voters in Middlesex-London, and before that, voters in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex. They voted me in as a Conservative because we all value principles like honesty, integrity, and accountability. Sadly, we have seen an erosion of trust in Canadian politics, spurred on by opportunism, corruption, and incompetence. Those reflect Liberal values, which I fundamentally oppose. #cdnpoli #conservative #middlesexlondon

In January, Marilyn Gladu said MPs who cross the floor should face an immediate by-election because it erodes voter trust amid rising political corruption and scandals. Guess what… She’s RIGHT! The people of Sarnia—Lambton—Bkejwanong put their trust in our Conservative plan to make Canada more affordable, safe, and self-reliant, not ANOTHER costly Liberal government. Marilyn Gladu has shattered that trust. Mark Carney and the Liberals are trying to stitch together a Liberal majority through backroom deals, rather than the ballot box. If Marilyn Gladu truly stands by what she said, she should have the courage to resign and let her constituents decide who will represent their best interests. To the people of Brantford—Brant South—Six Nations, you have my word — I will never betray the trust you placed in me to be your Conservative voice in Ottawa. Not now, not ever.

Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals. In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more. She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined. She should honour her word and let voters decide.
