As a coach do you allow a player to undermine you, and show disrespect by arguing with you and other players on the team, even if you feel he might be a key part of your team?

@coachb83 Pansies! I have my 9u travel baseball team lift before the game, during the 7th inning stretch, and after the game. All the while kids on the bench are lifting, pitchers in the bullpen are lifting and I make my parents in the stands lift with the standard issued dumbbells!!!

Our kids lift weights in-season. Period. It’s the expectation. And yes, even on game days. And if you don’t like that or agree with it, this just isn’t the place for you to coach or be a part of our athletic programs. It’s not punishment. It’s research based development.

By mutual agreement of all ten NCC schools, Arsenal Tech’s membership in the North Central Conference will end at the conclusion of the 2022-23 school year.

Wow! Great question. Never thought of this but I would be down with infield playing infield and outfield playing outfield. Hence their titles. Stack 4 infielders on their shoulders at 1st, I don’t care. Just stay out of the outfield. Same for outfielders.

@Real_Rosenthal @MLBONFOX Infielders play infield and outfielders play outfield. Maybe their intent when they handed out those exact titles for those positions 🤔. Shift the whole damn infield to the left or right side and even stack each player on top of their shoulders. Just stay out of the outfield.

@MLBONFOX All for banning the lateral shift. SS and 3B on the left of the second and 2B and 1B on the right, can move when contact is made. However, let the teams shift to make 5 man infields or 4 man outfields.

Should MLB ban the shift?
