Like many, we are aghast at how care for pregnant people has worsened since Roe v Wade's reversal. Faced with this suffering, WE MUST ACT. Announcing PROGRESSIVE RESISTANCE - an initiative to improve pelvic care for pregnant people in our communities. HumanCollab.org

Everyone knows the PT companies thriving via exploitation Exploitation of cheap labor, volunteers/students, staff PTs, AND patients We love rallying against the big bad insurance companies, but hard to convince our own to investigate how they’ve become complicit @Human_Collab

@Jerry_DurhamPT @Human_Collab I’m putting that tweet back up with the typos, the imperfections, and all of that because It’s a big deal in our field that not more than a couple DPT programs do this regularly or well, and that we don’t seem to have a plan to be more inclusive as a field.

Heath inequity is growing. US healthcare is rapidly approaching a level of capitalist dystopia that neither patients nor providers can deny. No one is happy except the health insurance & hospital executives who are scraping every dollar they possibly can off the top.

@Abby_NYC Attendance speaks volumes. It would take a large number of people refusing to register and show up 💰 or willing to show up but fail to attend the usual suspects’ lectures. (I know the problem is deeper than that… but it’s a visual and money talks). My field has this issue too.
