Few days ago, I went to popular shoe store in Ibadan to get a few legs and I found myself in the Owners office while trying to navigate the store, and I was like “Good afternoon bro” then He arrogantly goes “Excuse me, I’m not your bro!” I was shocked trying to figure out what’s going on in his head so I asked him “on what basis was I wrong for referring to you as bro! Age, wealth, status or the fact that we are not from same tribe?” That was when he realized I won’t take the shit of him playing mighty with me! He later toned down and explain that it’s just that he is used to people being formal when addressing him. Is it wrong to address people as bro now?
