Have to say, we have been given a really really tough group. Maybe it doesn’t look that way at first sight, but it ain’t gonna be easy. Netherlands 🇳🇱 #7 - Not much needs to be said. Always been good going forward, but also now have a ridiculous amount of good defenders. Easily one of the tournament favourites. Japan 🇯🇵 #19 - On paper sounds easy, but since the last World Cup they have beaten Germany, Turkey, Canada, Brazil, Ghana, Scotland and yesterday England. They play a 5 at the back and are hard to break down while being deadly in transitions. We play them last and it has the potential to be the group decider. Tunisia 🇹🇳 #47 - talent wise, by far the weakest of all 4 teams, but I’m almost certain they’ll get at least 1 point. Last World Cup they beat France. Another really strong defensive side and having them first is definitely not a good thing. It’s giving Argentina vs Saudi vibes (although I doubt we will go on to win the whole thing). Still a long way to go obviously and it’s incredible we are even here. But a lot of work needed up ahead if the summer is gonna be one to remember.
