@LoveLinYT Youtube was a big thing for me for 4ish years. Now I write books.

@yuridemn well ya of course! my post was just a joke poking fun at it. I find in my teams its very stressful for us if it's live, but totally get that not everyone works the same!

@JayceMinecraft yeah!! some people work better w/o the live audience but i think for us because i dont get uncomfy with doing voicelines in front of people (combined w the mic issue) it just worked better for us plus we had a laugh at a lot of stuff while recording its lots of fun

this is the reason so many voice actors quit nowadays. being Iaughed at just for how you perform Iines is so demotivating, we aII need to be kinder to each other.

@yuridemn It makes sense I just feel like for me and the actors I worked with they had much better lines when they recorded them by themself and could focus without a live audience as many times we will re-record lines 10-12 times before sending a take we like and in live calls that’s hard

Writers: Have you ever placed a physical copy of your book in a bookstore? Browsing the aisle of your genre, reach into your bag, extract your paperback, put it on the shelf, and walk away. Could lead to some interesting possibilities. I might try it.
