Hi everyone, I’m a non-US indie developer running a US LLC (single-member, foreign-owned), and I’m looking for a reliable CPA or tax professional to help with filing (Form 5472 + 1120). Ideally someone who: Has solid experience with foreign-owned US LLCs Is detail-oriented (not just filling forms blindly) Can communicate clearly and answer questions If you’ve worked with someone good, I’d really appreciate any recommendations 🙏

SaaS Dev Log #001 My new SaaS project is built with Next.js. To save costs, I decided to deploy on Cloudflare Pages instead of Vercel. That decision came with a hidden trap: Cloudflare Pages has a 25MB limit per single file. I didn’t think about this early enough. When it was time to deploy, I had to: Split many components Replace my icon library with a much smaller one Refactor a large amount of existing code If you’re planning to deploy a Next.js project on Cloudflare Pages, make sure you think about bundle size from day one, especially: Icon libraries Component structure Heavy dependencies that look harmless at first Hope this helps you avoid the same mistake. #BuildingInPublic

Lately I’ve been spending almost all my energy on building. I know marketing and understanding users matter. I say it all the time. But in reality, I keep staying in my comfort zone. Shipping features is easy. Thinking about distribution and real user needs is uncomfortable. To avoid that discomfort, I’ll gladly do anything else. Even more coding.

Docs, product ideas, random blog posts, notes — they should all live in one place. AI only works well when it has enough context. Fragmented inputs = fragmented output. Centralize context first. Intelligence comes later.

I delayed launching my SaaS for a long time. Not because it was hard to build, but because I wanted the first version to feel “perfect.” More features. More polish. More refactors. The result? No launch, no feedback, and slowly… no motivation. Lesson learned: An imperfect launch beats a perfect idea that never ships.

One year ago, Grok was only available on 𝕏, with no website and limited access Fast forward to today, and Grok has expanded across platforms with rapid feature rollouts and major upgrades New models. New apps. New features. Big upgrades Constant shipping This kind of progress does not happen without an insanely driven team xAI is moving at an unmatched pace, shipping updates faster than almost anyone in AI right now

@historigins This is a seasonal tourism attraction in Harbin. They build large snow sculptures like this every winter to attract visitors.

@ericdjav I treat AI as a “prompt co-founder” for speed: research, copy, code, iteration. But accountability, taste, and distribution still sit with the founder.

You don't need a co-founder. You need a better prompt.

@mdnlabs Great idea. Execution is brutal though — consistency is where most people drop off.

You could literally: - Pick a niche you like - Post on X 3000 times - Reply to every single person - Build something people are asking for That's how you go from 0 to 1k followers with a validated SaaS idea. Why aren't more people doing this?

@trikcode Exactly. AI is like editor autocomplete — a boost, not a crutch.

Some things I’ve learned from building products: People give you about 3 seconds. In those 3 seconds, they should instantly know: what your site does, who it’s for, and why it helps. If they need to think, you’ve already lost them. Focus matters more than ideas. Your homepage should say one clear thing. Build one solid feature. Your first paying user is usually the one with the most urgent pain — focus on their problem and the result they want. Don’t look sloppy. You don’t need fancy animations, but the UI has to feel clean and intentional. Good spacing, clear layout, no obvious “AI-made” feeling. The design should fit the product, not fight it. Validate early. Most ideas aren’t real problems. A real problem only exists in a real situation: who the user is, how much they’d pay, when they need it, and what they’re trying to get done. A product is just a solution to that. Show, don’t tell. If you have examples, show them. Screenshots, demos, real usage. And honestly — it can’t be much worse than existing tools. Product value = new experience − old experience − switching cost. Treat building like a long game. Test ideas on a rhythm — weekly or monthly. Most won’t work, and that’s fine. Don’t get attached to ideas people won’t pay for. Just keep building, testing, and letting reality decide. #indiehackers #buildinpublic #product
