As the U.S. is preparing for the next round of attacks on Iran, we all know what happened during the first round of the 40-day war—the United States lost 44 aircraft from February 28 until the ceasefire. This includes four F-15Es, two A-10s, two C-130s, two E-3 airborne early warning aircraft, eight KC-135 aerial refuelers, four MH-6 Little Birds used in special operations, and the rest were drones of various types. Each of these drones costs around $35 million. Overall, U.S. air losses alone are estimated at $8–10 billion, while the total cost of the conflict is estimated to have reached $30–36 billion during this short period. So, we can expect more losses in the coming days.
