8th and final race The mares bumper should be a cracker Aurora Vega will relish the better ground for sure. Didn’t like the soft to heavy ground at DRF and missed Cheltenham because of similar. Is apparently working really well at home and will be primed for this before going jumping. Her brother (Facile Vega) is unbeaten here (2/2) and she should go very close. None of the other single figure odds horses interest me at all… bar Mozzies Sister. Wow. Brought down on PTP debut… but then smashed the field nto. Had her rules debut about 6 weeks ago at Cork and absolutely obliterated the field on the bridle. Any performance similar to that today before coming off the bridle and she will be very hard to beat. I am absolutely gutted I missed 20/1… but at 6/1 there is still plenty of value. I’ll be playing an each way single here… as well as a small reverse forecast with Aurora Vega. Need to work out what I do in other multis but these two stand out by a distance for me and I can’t wait to watch them go at each other

2nd race Very hard for me to see past Answer To Kayf here. I’m not sure why isnt favourite. Somewhat comfortably beat Backtonormal, Blizzard Of Oz and Any Road when they all met in Naas in February. The only other single figure odds horse in the race today (Black Bamboo) has been pumped in his last 4 races (although one was a very good performance in the coral cup) Answer To Kayf has some very good form either side of that Naas win. Very close 4th at Cheltenham in the Martin Pipe (way ahead of the other 6 finishers and the 11 that pulled up). The winner of that race has money coming for him later and the other 2 are also top horses. I feel the jockey (7lb claimer on board today) will have learnt a lot from that race and will stick to a straighter line and with no Cheltenham hill and a quarter of a furlong less… it should be an easier finish for him too. He knows the horse well and I’m hoping he wins today. Win single an maybe an each way multi for me at 5/2
