This sparked an inside report stating that SOK 2 was supposed to take off with Kavin playing lead, and same director Krishna wielding megaphone. However, the project was dropped, when Kavin reportedly recommended Jen Martin to compose music telling Director that '#ARRahman sir is outdated', and lets go with youthful music director. This reportedly made Krishna to walk out stating "No Rahman.... No Sillunu Oru Kadhal 2'.
