@arc_blog I don't mind heroes fighting. But what DOES grind my gears is how they aren't recoiling in the direction Spidey hits them!

This page from Millar and McNiven’s Civil War makes the rounds every so often and while I found it really rad as a 15 year old it really leaves a sour taste in my mouth now. The best part of Marvel comics, to me, are the relationships between characters and Millar just broke them

I love the Raimi films but I wasn't keen on this aspect. I prefer that Spidey runs out of fluid and has to refill, rather than having an endless supply of stuff coming out of his body.

@PopMythology Yeah it's right up my street. A friend once described chi to me as "harmony". Like a powerful kick is due to harmony of the movement - the biomechanics are optimal, everything moving at the right angles, muscles contracting at the right time etc.
