Saddened to hear of the passing of @andymarkinc co-founder Mark Koors. Most humans don’t know his work on mecanum wheels was a breakthrough for FIRST teams that needed complex designs to run omni drives.

I first met @grantimahara at age 17. I mentioned I did FIRST & he was instantly more interested in my robotics experiences than talking about his own. When we'd cross paths at events, he'd check in on me, human to human. What a tremendously inspiring person. What a loss. 💔

Welp. No stream tonight.
Did some investigating on the overencoding I've been getting during streams lately. Turns out something's really up with my cooling/CPU temps.
I don't feel comfortable running it for stream until I can be sure I'm not causing more damage. :(

The right choice & undoubtedly a hard choice. Between this and FIRST Championship cancelled, I'm missing my friends (in all my spaces) SO, so much. Online spaces are great for connection, but it's just not the same. Whenever it's finally safe to do so I'm giving ALL THE HUGS

I met Sally Ride when I was a youngster and I remember how much I wanted to be an astronaut like her. She was so smart and so cool. I wore my little pink flightsuit as often as I wore my princess dresses.
I still want to be Miss Sally when I grow up.
