An oil tanker carrying crude oil, identified as “Altura,” was struck by a drone in the Black Sea about 15 miles from the Bosphorus Strait. The 140,000-ton vessel, which departed from Russia’s Novorossiysk port with roughly one million barrels, sustained heavy damage to its deck, engine room, and bridge after a powerful explosion. Flooding was reported in the engine section. Emergency response teams, including coast guard units and the rescue vessel Nene Hatun, were dispatched after a distress signal was issued. Rescue operations are ongoing. Turkey’s Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu confirmed the tanker was under Turkish management with 27 Turkish crew members on board. No casualties have been reported, and all crew are in stable condition. The vessel is owned by a Turkish company and was operating under a Sierra Leone flag.

Last night I had a dream. Nothing dramatic, nothing I can fully explain, but it felt real enough that when I woke up around 1:20, I could not go back to sleep. I tried all night because I wanted to continue it, or at least feel it again. That part alone stayed with me more than the dream itself. What stayed with me all day was not the details, but the feeling. Somewhere in the middle of everything I have been doing this past year, pushing, building, fighting, and growing, I realized something very simple. I finally slowed down enough to feel myself. What came with that was not clarity or direction, but a kind of raw awareness. And with it came a feeling I did not expect, what I can only describe as a mini grief for something I just touched in that dream. Not something I had, and not something I lost. Just something I felt, and now I know it exists. I think the part that is hitting me the most is this: something inside me finally felt safe enough to be felt. So I am not rushing to figure it out, and I am not trying to turn it into something it is not. I am just sitting with it for a minute and letting it be what it is, even if that means letting the tears come without trying to stop them. Don’t forget yourself in the process.

Federal prosecutors in New York announced that 129 million dollars has been distributed to victims of terrorism linked to the Islamic Republic.
