The affected areas included: Bruma, Bezuidenhout Valley, Bertrams, Cyrildene, Kensington, Judith's Paarl, Lorentzville, Observatory and surrounding areas. The interruption was necessary to do essential maintenance work on our network which is part of our program of constantly striving to provide a better service. Our team is currently sourcing the necessary material, after which repairs will resume. To date, 89% of the power supply has been restored. However, two load centers remain off, affecting customers in Dias Street, Tulbagh Street, De Mist Street, Van Der Stel Street, as well as Dewetshof. At this stage, the estimated time of restoration (ETR) has not yet been established and will be communicated once the required material has been secured and repairs commence.
